Infinitum Wins Innovator of the Year Award from Austin Regional Manufacturers Association

AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Infinitum, creator of the breakthrough air core motor, today announced it has won the Austin Regional Manufacturers Association (ARMA) 2022 Innovator of the Year Award. Infinitum was recognized in this year’s program for the company’s significant innovations in technology and manufacturing.

The Austin Regional Manufacturers Association (ARMA) is a nonprofit trade association dedicated to strengthening the manufacturing community through advocacy, workforce development, and networking. The annual ARMA awards recognizes the contributions of individuals and corporations within the Central Texas manufacturing community.

Infinitum manufactures motors that go beyond efficiency by using fewer resources to produce them, less energy to run them and a commitment to remanufacture them for the next generation.

Infinitum’s Aircore EC and new Aircore Mobility motors replace heavy iron found in traditional electric motors with a lightweight printed circuit board (PCB) stator that is 10x more reliable. Infinitum motors are 50 percent smaller and lighter, use 66 percent less copper and consume 10 percent less energy than standard iron core stator motors. The Infinitum motor’s modular design allows for components to be reused multiple times to serve future generations, keeping them in service and out of landfills.

“We’re honored to be recognized by ARMA for advancing the Central Texas manufacturing community through our innovation in technology and sustainability,” said Rick Tewell, President of Infinitum. “Infinitum as a company was founded from a passion to build sustainable electric motors by purposefully reducing carbon emissions and material waste and we are pleased and extremely proud that ARMA has recognized our achievements.”
