Mounting

Infinitum motors accommodate several different mounting schemes depending on the amount and type of space available for installation. The most common schemes include welded angle steel, bent metal frames, tubular mount, and C-Face.

Steel Angle Mounting Options

Welded angle steel aligned with mounting points. Cubes can be stacked and bolted together in an array of motors.

Tubular Motor Mounting

Tubular mount with curved tubing that attaches the motor directly to the wall using mounting points.

Bent Metal Frames

Bent metal frames aligned with mounting points. Lighter than welded frames but require wall mounting (rather than stacking).

Note: Infinitum motors do not have a standard NEMA foot mount.

Designing a fan cube or fan array using Aircore EC motors

There are several mounting scheme possibilities for using Aircore EC motors in a fan cube or fan array design. Our design asset cites real-world examples of three mounting schemes- welded angle steel, bent metal and tubular mount- to assist you as you design your next fan cube or fan array.
